Christmas 2009

We have had a lovely Christmas, starting at Rutherglen with the Mackinlay folks, then off to Yarrawonga to the Hartvigsens, a bit more of the Mackinlays in Holbrook and then some camping on the Murray. 2009 is gone and hello 2010. Where are the girls at - Ruby is still crawling but ready to walk any day now. She is fast and furious, love to climb, escape outside and is hard to keep up with. Ruby has quite a few words - hello, teddy, by by, no, yeah, mum, dadda, Ma ( Maya). Ruby is still a good sleeper and is heaps of fun. Maya is now four with a mind of her own. Drawing, singing, colouring, anything crafty are Maya's favourite things to do. Maya is also pretty keen on playing with her friends and is getting more and more confident at swimming, jumping on the trampoline, scootering and bike riding. Still the drama queen, Maya likes her own way and is learning lots of life lessons. See you in 2010!

Happy Birthday Ruby& Dot

Our baby girl is 1 and Grandma Dot is 85! At one Ruby is crawling like a mad thing, pulling herself up to stand using anything she can find. She is adventurous and still the smileiest girl in town. She says Mumma, Dadda, bath, Ma (Maya), nana (banana) by by and thats about it. Six teeth and three more just popping through. Happy birthday beautiful Ruby.

Snow time.

There have been some late dumps of snow so Scotty and Maya headed up to Dinner Plain to check it out. They had a ball. Highlights were tobogganing, chasing crows out of Stevie C's 'snow house' and a pie at the snow pub.

Trivia Queens!

Spring is here and finally we can get out into the back yard. The vege patch is ready for planting and Maya is getting good at seeding. Scotty has upgraded the sand pit with fresh sand, Maya had a ball helping Scott and Ashy to shovel it in - with her tiny red shovel.

Fathers Day

Sunday was fathers day, breaky in bed and pressies for Scott then off to a movie - Maya's first movie - UP. She loved it, and even managed to wear the 3d glasses. Mum ad Dad brought gran up for a visit and we spent most of the arvo just watching Ruby entertain us.

recent photos

Photos from a few things that we have been up to lately like: Maya's first bike - handed down from the next door neighbours, a drawing of Maya's first bike. A trip to Melbourne to see Claire and Jim and a visit to Oma Jill. Also falling asleep with Teddy for a pillow.
